  1. Trains were all run with coal. Coal tenders would spill coal. Kids would walk along the tracks and gather coal to heat their houses. SOmetimes the coal men would be nice and shove some extra coal for them. Peter was struck by a train while doing this. Doesn’t appear on 1920 census.
