Today I discovered an image of our ancestor Jacob De Jong that I hadn’t seen before (see image here). It’s apparently from of a book called “Down an Indian Trail in 1849: The Story of Roseland” by Maria K. Rowlands (1949, 1989). I also found a list of related publications on the Eenigenburg Museum website.
